Time Management?
At this moment, I am now experiencing holiday in the way it should not be spent. In other words, working.
This one week holiday that i was given was suppose to be a relaxing week where I could calm my thoughts down, start revision, and just take a break as well as catch up on sleep.
But, I guess sometimes things just don’t come to be. The week started with a busy weekend in youth and dealing with some piano arrangement for the polytechnic choir that was due on Monday. I owe it to Serina to at least show some good work done. Although last minute (Serina, I apologize), I hope that it was good enough an arrangement for the choir.
Then, my project for Remote Sensing course is due on the 5th of September. So I was supposed to hand it in to my friend by Wednesday but low and behold, my laptop decided to go bonkers on me… The keyboard malfunctioned and I was forced to call a technician to review what was wrong. When he finally came, the uncle confirmed that my keyboard was the problem but he wasn’t able to fix it till next week. So what I had to do was find an external keyboard to plug it into my laptop (which I did), and I was able to start with my work.
By then, it was Wednesday already. So, I told my friend that I would hand in the project late and she was fine with it, (Thanks, aud). I manage to finish my project section by Wednesday night and handed it in on Thursday afternoon to my friend. Now she is collecting and editing everything before the final draft is printed.
After all this I thought that everything is done but.. nope!! I guessed wrong. For the project itself, there is presentation too.. so I have to prepare the slides for my group to present on Friday. Currently, I’m waiting for all the extracted data from the project to appear in my e-mail so that I can progress in that work. *sigh*
Moving along, this afternoon, due to the messy recording I did on Monday for the polytechnic choir, I had to go again to polytechnic (which by the way is not near at all) to re-record all the songs with Serina. So, here’s to you Serina for being patient with me and your willingness to pick me and send me back. I’m very grateful.
That is just today. Tomorrow, I’ll be picking Audrey up so that we can continue working on our group project. And the cycle starts again with music practice for Sunday Service in the afternoon and youth at night. Sunday comes and goes and Monday, I start school again.
And with that, I have ended my holiday. I guess it was just a holiday by name. Ta-ta for now.
By the way, remember my spoiled laptop keyboard?? It’s now functioning normally again. I guess it repaired itself and I’m now using it to type this post. I’m praying that it will continue to funtion well because I can’t afford another major set back again.
p/s: here’s to all who feels a need for a break. May your holiday come true. Take care all, and God Bless.

Well Sarah my dearest, I guess God allows certain things to happen so that we might grow mature. (Weeell, I DO agree that it WAS frustrating most of the time, but His grace is sufficient ya.) :o)
